Nursery School hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. See our calendar for yearly details.

We accept applications for our school year beginning in February and require a non-refundable application fee ($50).  Tuition payments are submitted monthly throughout the school year.

Three Year Olds

Eligibility: Your child may be two and a half years old in September, but must be three by December 31st of the same school year to be eligible for enrollment.

TWO DAY

Tuesdays and Thursdays:

THREE DAY

Monday/Wednesday/Friday:
$3,010.00 ($301/month for 10 months)

Four Year Olds

Four year old children may attend either three, four or five days each week.

Mornings Monday-Thursday:

$3,900.00 ($390/month for 10 months)

Kindergarten Enrichment Option

There are several Kindergarten Enrichment opportunities at Swarthmore Friends Nursery School.

FIVE DAY PROGRAM

In both the morning and afternoon, a five day program is available, including:

  • Daily outside play

  • Arts and crafts

  • Story time

  • Snack

  • Indoor free play

  • Lunch time

The morning program runs from 9:00 a.m. until the children are bused to their home school for afternoon Kindergarten (within the Wallingford Swarthmore School District).

The afternoon program runs from the time the children are bused to the nursery school from their home schools (within the Wallingford Swarthmore School District) until 2:45 and offers the same opportunities as the morning program.

The cost for this program is $5,050.00/year for five mornings or afternoons.

THREE DAY PROGRAM

Kindergarteners can also come for a three days/week Kindergarten Enrichment program, choosing either M/W/F or T/W/TH. The cost for three mornings or afternoons is $3,470.00/year.  

We welcome children from other school districts, but are sorry that we can not provide transportation.

 
 

Available add-ons for any Program

EARLY BIRD DROP-OFF

Available from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. every day. Space is limited so please inquire with the Director to make arrangements.

LUNCH BUNCH (EXTENDED DAY)

An extended day from 11:30 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. is available every afternoon. Any child may be enrolled for one or more extended days as desired.

Per day

Each Lunch Bunch day costs an additional $1,100.00 per year ($110.00 monthly for 10 months.)

Multi-day discount

Families will receive a tuition break for registering for two or more lunch bunches:

Two Lunch Bunches/week pre year: $1,900.00

Three Lunch Bunches/week per year: $2,700
Four Lunch Bunches/week per year: $3,400.00
Five Lunch Bunches/week per year: $4,100.00
